Tom McIntire

Check out Tom's Not Dead Directing/Editing Reel. Tom's is looking for video editing, directing, production and post-production work. Actor, writer, editor, director, producer - Tom has been working steadily in the low/no budget film world in addition to fringe theatre gigs and two Japanese network television productions.

Born in a faceless suburb of New York City, Tom escaped to the West and rarely looks back (except when digging for writing material). Trained as a visual artist, Tom takes a broad view on creating art, doing everything from writing a bad novel and drawing a comic strip to writing and producing films and music.

Writer/director/producer/editor Tom has 7 short films under his belt and is currently in pre-production for Greenspoke - expect a spring 2009 release for this timely thriller, which recently placed in the semi-finals of the Shriekfest short sci fi screenplay competition. Tom wrote/directed and produced two julias, which won an Honorable Mention and a Director's Pick at the ReelHeART International Film Festival (RHIFF) in Toronto. Tom's feature-length screenplay, The Smiling Zombie, made it through the first round of the Washington State Screenplay Competition.

Tom recently achieved Apple Final Cut Studio Master Pro Certification for the entire Final Cut product suite - Final Cut Pro (level 1 and 2), Motion, Color, Soundtrack and DVD Studio Pro - to improve his post-production skills.
